Introduction
I purchased the Focus in Oct 2009,
in support of retrieving the 2 Litre Duratec Engine for the purpose of
supporting my Fraser Sev7en build. The Focus had extensive front nearside
damage.
Six weeks ago I got rid of the body
shell and I must admit that lots of quality parts went with the shell. Just
had to clear my garage or should I say my daughters garage.
I am now at the stage of getting rid
of the remaining parts and I emphasise that this is the purpose of the
exercise rather than to sell.
I have got a couple questions of
Fraser Cars regards a couple of components that I am not sure whether I have
to keep as part of Engine Management Computer System. I have read a bit on
the OZ Clubbie site about the various interlocks that supports the Duratec
EMCS, ie ignition key switch, Instrument Cluster Accelerator Pedal etc. I
also have the Manifold including flexible joint and the Duratec plastic
engine cover. That I am not sure whether I need those components or not I
may choose to keep just in case. I should have said that I also have the
EMCS local wiring harness and other wiring.
The parts that I want to get rid of
are as follows:
Auto Gearbox.
(casing cracked but believe the internals are ok)
Bell Housing (Auto) maybe someone
wants it to make a transition piece for a manual box to a 2 Litre Duratec?

Front Suspension Uprights (damage
to near side upright)
